RAI to implement a ‘quality’ Auditel
A new quality measurement of audience satisfaction of RAI tv programmes will be operating soon, TV Sorrisi e Canzoni (a tv magazine) said. The system will be similar to the ‘audi’ research tecniques but it will based on quality parameters instead.
A revolution in the tv audience measurement? We’ll see.

Tg5 editor in chief to leave
Carlo Rossella is leaving his position as editor in chief at tg5, Canale 5 newscast (Mediaset). Clemente J. Mimun, former editor in chief at tg1 (Rai Uno newscast) will succeed him.

I’m sure Mimun will easily find himself ‘at home’ at Mediaset, after the enthusiasm he showed towards Berlusconi’s government during his editorial management at the tg1.

News Corp vende 9 tv locali
Murdoch ha annunciato la vendita di 9 delle sue 35 stazioni televisive locali statunitensi. Le tv, tutte affiliate alla Fox, si trovano nei mercati più piccoli tra quelli controllati dalla News Corporation e in particolare nella zona di Cleveland, Denver, St. Louis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, Birmingham, Memphis e Greensboro.
